The word ‘unashamed’ is not often heard nor used in the world.
Paul in Romans 1:16 said “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”
In the B.C (before Christ) of our lives we were all one class of people and that’s sinners. God cannot dwell in sin, so he offers us the plan of salvation. Once we accept Christ as Lord and
Savior we become ‘sinners saved by grace’ and kept in the best company with God.
Now people travel all over the world to see:
– Beautiful mansionas
– Skyscrapers
– 7 wonders of the world
– Largest mall
– Highest rollercoasters
-Etc
Each of these were started as a thought in God’s mind. We also started as a thought in his mind, except we are given a choice to
experience the power of God thru salvation.
Yet by his grace we are not bitter but better people. UNashamed as we are in the best company of God’s Kingdom. In this place we have the grace of his gospel, salvation and power.
October is Leadership Month. A time that Special Event Coordinator Pastor Debra Young shares glad tidings with: SOS Prayer Network Call Leaders, Special Event Coordinators and
Enrichment Liaisons for being UNashamed. As they spread the goodnews (gospel), encourage salvation (building Gods family), and are intercessors believing God for his power (miracles, signs and wonders) for many prayer request.
Those temporal things people travel to see will fade away. But the things that pertain to Gods Kingdom will last forever. By you being UNashamed we are blessed day by day to be in the best company with God.
