God’s Healing Regimen

Some questions are apparent others are deduced. 2 Chronicles 7:14-15:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

There are qualifiers to who God hears:

  • those called by his name
  • those who humble themselves and pray
  • those who seek his face and turn from wicked ways

Verse 15 let’s us see how Gods attitude changes toward us:

  • his eyes will be open
  • his ears attent unto the prayer

Once qualifiers are meet, and Gods attitude toward us is changed, then he:

  • hears from heaven
  • forgives our sin
  • heals our land

The word wicked, means:

  • evil or morally wrong
  • intended to or capable of harming someone or something

To rid of the wicked God identifies the IV to be used to inject healing into the land are the “If my people.”
As intercessors we trust God to hear prayers we say for ourselves and others. Example of intercessors in the bible are:

  • Job prayed for himself and his friends
  • Abraham prayed for his offspring, and for Sodom

Both men met the qualifiers, and God answered their prayers.

During the month of August and September we are hosting the US Prayer Vigil (including the US Virgin Islands). Like Abraham and Job let’s change God’s heart toward us by meeting the qualifiers, know that he will see and hear us, and he has all authority to heal the land.

This months challenge:

Invite others to join us in applying Gods Healing Regimen to the US!
