Ephesians 5:33, “However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband”
Father God,
Praise is what we do to secure victory in any battle; by engaging in praise, we transfer our battles to Him (2 Chr 20:20-24).
Rev 15:4. Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For you alone are holy. All
nations will come and worship You….
We are grateful for the guidance You give us in your Word. Today we lift up the scripture from Eph 5:33 that reminds us of the importance of love and respect in marriage.
We pray that husbands and wives everywhere will truly understand and embody the meaning of this verse. Help husbands to love their wives as they love themselves, and encourage wives to show reverence to their husbands.
May this love be unconditional, sacrificial, and modeled after the love Christ has for his church. We pray that it will be a love that grows stronger with each passing day, and that it will conquer any trials or challenges that come their way.
Lord, we know that love and respect aren’t always easy, but withYour help, all things are possible. Please give husbands and wives wisdom, patience, and understanding as they navigate the complexities of marriage, and teach them to prioritize love and respect above all else.
We ask all of these things in the name of Your son, Jesus Christ.
